If you’ve been around here for a bit, my love of oatmeal will come as no surprise. When regular macro day rolls around and I welcome an abundance of carbs back with open arms 9 times out of 10, this is on the menu.
In the spirit of transparency though, a regular bowl of oats will have me back in the kitchen in an hour (this momma is an eater). I’ve mastered a fool proof recipe that not only tastes delicious but helps me hit my macro goals and sustains me for hours.
Here it is friends, Loaded Oats:
1/2 cup gluten free rolled oats
1 scoop unflavored collagen peptides
1T ground flax seed
1T chia seeds
1/2t ground cinnamon
2t maple syrup
1 medium banana
1/3C raspberries
1/3C blueberries
1/2C unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1T seed blend if you choose
Instructions:
Start off by cooking oats according to instructions on package.
Stir in to fully cooked oats collagen peptides, flax and chia.
Top with remaining ingredients and enjoy!
